Why a new kitchen?
The kitchen at this bungalow in Eldwick near Guiseley and Bingley was around 20 years old with a magnolia/cream finish typical of the period and several older appliances and a radiator occupying valuable space.
The requirement
The owners wanted a well lit easy to clean modern kitchen with clean lines and clutter free usable worktops.
Being wary of complex digital controls, appliances with conventional controls were requested.
The solution
In consultation and after visiting the Janus Interiors kitchen showroom the clean lines of the Mattonella Sheraton kitchen in gloss cashmere was chosen to complement new and potential future decor changes. It’s high gloss finish was recommended to reflect the light.
This choice was arrived at by utilising the computer generated 3D kitchen design to instantly see colour changes on the computer screen at the Janus Interiors showroom and by taking free door and worktop samples home to see in the actual light of their kitchen space. These were also used to colour match decor.
A hands on demonstration of the induction hob with it’s easy touch control installed at the Janus showroom confirmed that this would be an asset in the new kitchen.
A heater was built into the floor level plinth to replace the radiator with the liberated space housing a unit with concealed waste and recycle bins.
3D computer generated designs are free with any kitchen showroom appointment or home survey.
