Why a new bathroom
The current ensuite bathroom did not enable a dressing room area to be accessed from it and did not suit the owners needs.
The Requirement
A warm modern bathroom yet be in keeping with the older age of the property. A bath, shower and direct dressing room access to meet everyone’s needs. A company (Janus Interiors) that could be relied upon to design and complete the whole 2 bathroom job from end to end.
The Solution
Janus Interiors produced an initial design for both bathrooms. They then spent time with the owners adapting it to ensure the chosen baths, showers, floor, units and accessories were to the owners taste and they were completely happy with the final design.
The ensuite bathroom space was reconfigured by altering a wall to allow easy dressing room access. To the now large bathroom, underfloor heating and powerful radiators were added for guaranteed warmth.
The design of the semi freestanding bath is not only inviting but very comfortable. And the lovely minimal walk in shower is easy to clean.
Tiled walls and flooring and a lit mirror above the wash basin unit completed the luxury look and feel of this modern yet not too modern now fully usable ensuite bathroom near Skipton.
