Why a new kitchen
The owners current kitchen at Harden, midway between Bingley and Keighley, was showing signs of age.
Unsure what to replace it with they knew it needed an update.
The requirement
They decided to utilise the expertise of a professional kitchen designer for advice on how best to bring the kitchen up to date and make it more usable.
They wanted a quality modern kitchen, importantly achieved with maximum value for money.
The solution
A home survey enabled kitchen designer Michele to not only see and accurately measure the current kitchen layout, but also get a sense of how the kitchen was currently used by the family and their likely future needs.
This understanding shaped the proposed kitchen design, produced as a 3D computer graphic so that the owners could clearly see what their future kitchen would look like. This also made it easier for them to propose their own revisions which turned out to be minimal.
Included in the design was a new breakfast bar area.
The modern clean lines of the Sheraton inline painted kitchen units in limestone & anthracite with quartz worktops were chosen.
Bosch appliances included a built in combination oven, single oven and induction hob and dishwasher. Built in units were used to hideaway and replace the previously prominent washing machine and dishwasher.
The owners reaction
The owners loved the updated look and have found the new kitchen to be a much more social area than before.
