Why A New Bedroom

Having now reached student years, this son's bedroom at the home near Ilkley needed an update.

The Requirement

To take on the awkward shape. To update, breathe new life and revitalise the bedroom to suit a young professional and adapt to a guest room in future.

Also to provide usable and useful storage.

The Solution

Showcasing the design in computer generated 3D enables ideas and configurations of the awkward space to be explored and visualised in advance.

The single bed was replaced by a large super comfort bed.

Janus completely re plastered and re wired the room installing new downlights and positioning new electrical sockets with integral USB ports for that all important easy charging.

Built in tall floor to ceiling bespoke Daval Solo wardrobes in Cashmere were designed with internal drawer units, pull down hanging plus shelving to fully utilise the fantastic flexibility of the Daval Como Wardrobes. Additional bedside drawer units and a tall set of drawers extended the numerous storage options.

Together the family and Janus Interiors designed a fabulous and practical new bedroom for son and future guests at this Ilkley home with almost endless storage.
